General Assembly
The General Assembly meets every year in June and has increased and strengthened its powers in the context of the implementation of the new regulations applicable to collective management organizations.
Administration Board
SPPF Administration Board members are elected among the associates for a 3-year period renewed each year, by thirds, by the Ordinary General Assembly. The President of the SPPF has the status of Chairman.

Its missions
This control body is composed of three members who must have been SPPF associates for more than five years, and who are elected by the Ordinary General Assembly for a 3-year term. In accordance with article 11 bis of the Status, its members, who may be re-elected, shall not sit at the Board or on any other commission at the SPPF.
Its missions, defined in article L. 323-14 of the French Intellectual Property Code, are the following:
- Control Administration Board, President and CEO’s activities, notably the implementation of General Assembly decisions, mostly regarding the general policies listed in article L. 323-6 of the Intellectual Property Code,
- Control of administrative and accounting procedures’ implementation and internal control mechanisms that allows rational, prudent and appropriate management,
- Issue an opinion on SPPF’s refusals to provide documents requested by its associates in application of article L. 326-5 of the Intellectual Property Code.
